Usagi was a normal school girl when one day she met a talking cat Luna. Luna gave Usagi a brooch and said to shout "Moon Prism Power! Make-up!" this is how Usagi transformed into sailor moon, champion of love and justice
Later we found out that Usagi is the mysterious Moon princess Serenity everybody was looking for.
Usagi's future is to rule in Crystal Tokyo as Neo Queen Serenity with her husband King Endymion and daughter Usagi Small Lady Serenity (known as Small Lady or Chibiusa)
In Sailor Moon S during the battle against Pharaoh 90 it was revealed that Usagi is the messiah
in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (known as Sailor Moon live-action show or just PGSM for short) Usagi has black hair and ponytails in her normal form
in her sailor moon form her hair changes into yellow and gets longer
when Usagi's spirit is taken by Princess Serenity she becomes Princess Sailor Moon
also in PGSM special act. she dressed as Sailor Rabbit, Sailor V's comrade
